Leading test equipment manufacturer Yelo has been shortlisted in two categories for the 2018 Insider Media Made in Northern Ireland Awards. The awards take place on Friday 11th May in the Titanic Hotel, Belfast.
In its first year entering the awards, Yelo has been shortlisted for "Digital Engineering/Technology" and "Manufacturer of the Year (Under £25m)". This is due to the company's strong export performance and growth over the last year including the opening of its new 25,000 sq ft manufacturing facility and its celebration of 35 years in business.
Yelo's Marketing Executive Dylan Burke said "It's a great privilege to be shortlisted for these awards and to be recognised for the great work we do in the manufacturing sector. It has been an excellent year for business and amidst the uncertainty surrounding Brexit we have continued to excel in our manufacturing capability. We look forward to a great event at Titanic and hope to win at least one of our categories".
This is not the first time Yelo have celebrated victory as they scooped the awards for Manufacturing Business of the Year and Small Business of the Year at last years Belfast BEFTA's. The winners of the regional 'Made in Northern Ireland Awards' will go on to represent Northern Ireland at the 'Made in the UK Awards' later this year.
